This page is aimed at those of you who have already decided to visit Forjay Trophy Hunts, to help you prepare so that your trip will go smoothly and you can enjoy it to the fullest.
What should you expect for weather? At the beginning of the season temperatures can be as high as 80 degrees. Temperatures fall in the end of September to October to almost freezing at night and can be as high as 50 degrees in the daytime. For our hunters the end of October to November you may experience temperatures as mild as 30 or 40 degrees, however, the cold Canadian winters can also bring temperatures as low as -10 degrees.
Hunting in winter conditions can be quite pleasant so long as one is properly dressed, and the necessary equipment is available. At Forjay we are prepared for and accustomed to winter hunting.
In regards to your firearms, although we strive to keep our website up to date, it is important to visit the Canadian Firearm Centre website to obtain the most up-to-date information. These are laws of the Government of Canada and they are subject to change at their discretion.
